Simone Pheulpin & Maison Goossens – Beyond Our Horizons, Tokyo, Japan
From September 30 to October 20, 2025, the 19M Gallery presents Beyond Our Horizons, highlighting Simone Pheulpin alongside 30 French and Japanese artists and artisans.
The textile artist collaborates with Maison Goossens, a renowned goldsmithing house, to create Leiko, a series of three sculptures combining cotton and tin, where tradition and innovation engage in a subtle trompe-l’œil dialogue. This exhibition marks a new creative territory for Simone Pheulpin, more than 50 years after the start of her career.

Following the inclusion of her sculpture Aude from the Eclipse series in the heritage collections of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Simone Pheulpin has the honor of seeing her work exhibited at the residence of the French Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, in Abu Dhabi.
The Musée des dentelles et broderies de Caudry presented an exhibition on the theme of underwater life, entitled “Dentelle des mers”, in which Simone Pheulpin was invited to present three exceptional works: Coral, Ensemble I, and Origin XIII, from September 20, 2024, to August 24, 2025.
Simone Pheulpin‘s sculpture Jéromine, created in 2019 and acquired in 2021 by the MAD – Musée des Arts décoratifs, was loaned for the Beauty Speaks for Itself exhibition, in the “Movement” section.
Organized as part of a partnership between the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Van Cleef & Arpels and the National Palace Museum (NPM) in Taipei, this exhibition celebrated the NPM’s centenary. It brought together over 260 works on the theme of universal beauty, divided into five sections: nature, movement, secrecy, the imaginary and colors.

For this anniversary exhibition, Florence Guillier Bernard, founder of Maison Parisienne, commissioned 15 artists to create 15 original works that resonate with the magnificence of the exhibition venue, the Hall des Maréchaux at the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris. For the occasion, Simone Pheulpin created the sculpture “L’intemporelle”, the largest “Croissance” the artist has ever made.
